PENGEMBANGAN GILI TRAWANGAN SEBAGAI DESTINASI DIGITAL NOMAD

Abstract

Gili Trawangan di Lombok memiliki potensi besar sebagai destinasi wisata digital nomad. Penelitian ini mengkaji ketersediaan fasilitas pendukung serta dampak ekonomi, sosial budaya, dan lingkungan dari keberadaan wisatawan digital nomad di Gili Trawangan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa akses internet di Gili Trawangan telah memadai, meskipun kecepatan dapat menurun saat cuaca buruk. Wisatawan umumnya bekerja dari penginapan mereka, sementara co-working space yang nyaman masih jarang tersedia. Dari segi ekonomi, sosial budaya dan lingkungan menunjukkan keberadaan wisatawan digital nomad memberikan dampak positif dan negatif. Penelitian ini menyarankan pengembangan infrastruktur teknologi dan ruang kerja untuk menunjang aktivitas digital nomad, serta edukasi masyarakat lokal dan pengelolaan lingkungan guna mewujudkan pariwisata berkelanjutan di Gili Trawangan.
