Abstract

This research explores promotional strategies to increase tourist visits to the Jabal Rahmah Educational Tourism Park, Jango Village, Central Lombok. Strategically located in the middle of Lombok Island and inaugurated on November 10 2018, this park offers an educational tourism concept based on Islam and nationality. Even though it has great potential with complete facilities and various educational activities, the number of tourist visits is not yet optimal. This research uses descriptive qualitative methods with observation, interviews and documentation to collect data. SWOT analysis identifies strengths such as strategic location and complete facilities, as well as weaknesses such as road accessibility and less than optimal social media promotion. Huge opportunities open up through digital promotions and collaboration with related parties, although challenges remain from extreme weather and destination competition. Recommended strategies include strengthening promotions via social media to increase tourist awareness and interest
