STRATEGI PENGEMBANGAN DESA WISATA LANTAN KECAMATAN BATUKILANG KABUPATEN LOMBOK TENGAH
Abstract
This research aims: 1) To analyze the development strategy for the Lantan tourist village, Central Lombok Regency, 2) To find out what tourism potential exists in Lantan village. The type of research used is qualitative descriptive research, using data collection techniques, namely interviews, observation and documentation. The research results concluded that the Lantan Tourism Village, Central Lombok Regency has great potential, both natural and cultural potential, plus support from external factors which provide a very high opportunity to develop into a sustainable tourist village. There are several alternative strategies that can be applied in its development, namely related to destination aspects, industrial aspects, marketing aspects and institutional aspects. Recommended development strategies include: a) strategy for creating a brand image of the Lantan village tourism destination & creating accessibility to the tourist attraction, b) strategy for creating the environment around the tourist attraction & developing a variety of rural tourism products based on unique local potential, c) strategy for increasing product certification tourism industry & marketing activities for rural tourism products, d) strategy to strengthen the entrepreneurial spirit of village communities in the tourism sector & increase human resource competency in the tourism sector.
