MENINGKATKAN KEMAMPUAN BERBICARA MAHASISWA DENGAN TEKNIK TIME TOKEN PADA MAHASISWA STKIP KUSUMANEGARA
Abstract
This research to know how the improve students speaking skill through time token technique. How to know the differences using time token technique and conventional learning. This research was conducted to students English education programme fifth semester at STKIP Kusumanegara. There were 25 students use time token technique to improve their speaking skill. This research use classroom action research. It consist of two cycle. Each of cycle was developed by planning, acting, observing, and reflecting. In cycle I there is 64% students pass speaking learning then continue in cycle II there is 88% students pass. The average score in cycle I is 68,24 and in cycle II is 85,71. Students give positive response as long as speaking learning. After they apply time token technique, they more active speak in English, they give appreciate each other to hear what their friend’s says. They feel comfort speak by using English in front of their friends
