Abstract
Mental workload is the number of types of work that must be completed by health workers within one year in health services. Mental workload that is not prevented will have an impact on work accidents, one of which is on health workers. This research aims to determine the factors that influence the mental workload of health workers. This research is a quantitative research with a cross sectional research design. The population in this study was all health workers at the Muara Jernih Community Health Center, totaling 70 people using a total sampling technique of 70 people. This research was conducted from 3 to 9 August 2023. Data was collected using a questionnaire and analyzed univariately and bivariately using the chi-square test. The research results showed that there was a relationship between work demands (p=0.003), work environment (p=0.000) and motivation (p=0.001) with the mental workload of health workers at the Muara Jernih Community Health Center. It is recommended that the Muara Jernih Community Health Center pay attention to the physical and mental workload of health workers and provide education and work training for health workers to avoid incidents of mental workload as well as fulfill the ideal number of employees, improve work system schedules and facilitate adequate rest areas
